The invitation✉
Introduction: Everyone has a door to his or her own heart. The heart opens when we greet one another in love, with arms wide open. We can, at any given time, either open or close the door to our heart because we have free will to choose when or not and how and why. Please Open Your Heart!
Jesus is extending His love for you by knocking at your heart’s door. When we hear Him, we either accept His free invitation of love and Eternal life or we reject it. He wants to lead you to Heaven too; where you can have fellowship with Him and other believers and praise Him for eternity in everlasting Love and Peace. Jesus wants to embrace you with arms wide open. Get to know the Creator of the Universe; He has a plan for your life. He loves you very much.
Revelation 3:20 NKJV (Bible Translation)
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.”
Plan of Salvation: How to Get Invited to a Heavenly Wedding. Follow these instructions while Praying to God and receiving Christ:
How to Get Invited to a Heavenly Wedding...
The Plan of Salvation: Following these steps will help you learn how to accept Christ into your life through a verbal prayer. This will help you gain an understanding about how this process of Salvation works!
Steps to make your peace with God:
1. Decision – Decide right now, from your heart to accept and follow Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior. Put your Trust in God Now! To get to the right place and have some peace of mind about your Eternal Security.
*There are Spiritual Laws: If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will spend your eternity in Heaven. If you reject Jesus Christ and don't accept His Free Gift of Eternal Life, you will spend your eternity separated from God and cast out to Hell forever. You must make a choice, everyone has freewill.
*Heaven: a place of joy, peace and everlasting life.
Romans 5:1 “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life, an that they may have it more abundantly.” - Jesus
*Hell: a place of torment(fire and brimstone...weeping and nashing of teeth), suffering(condemnation) eternal separation from God.
Matthew 13:41-43 "The son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 "then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ear to hear, let him hear!
2. Confession – Openly share with Jesus that you’re a sinner and you need God’s Forgiveness. We confess our sin here to God and are in need of a savior, our best friend (Jesus Christ).
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
3. Direction – Be willing to turn from your own sinful ways of living and belief systems (ways of the world). You will have no other gods before Him. We focus our attention on Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Let go and Let God. Turn your life toward Jesus Christ and follow Him.
Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.”
Ezekiel 18:32 "For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord God. "Therefore turn and live!"
Matthew 16:24-26 – “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 ” For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 “For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
*Turn away from your life of sin now and turn to God for forgiveness.
4. What we believe in – Believe by faith with your whole heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross and rose from the grave. He is the resurrection and the life (the Way, the Truth and Life). Faith is the belief in something unseen but hoped for. We believe in One God now and forever and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
5. Reception – Receive Jesus Christ into your heart and ask him to come into your life. Tell Jesus that you love Him and thank Him for His Love. This is the point where you receive Christ.
John 1:12 “yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
Roman 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead, you will be saved.”
Example of what to Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn away from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I trust and follow You as my Lord and savior, now and forever. I love you for first loving me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Transformation: At this point you become Born Again (regeneration/New birth).
1. Regeneration – When we receive Christ into our lives we are born into the family of God this is through a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. At this point you become Born Again (regeneration/New birth takes place). You are now a new creation in Christ.
2. Confirmation – If you sincerely Accepted Christ, You have Eternal Life.
1 John 5:12-13 “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
John 3:16 – “For Gods so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believes in Him, shouldl not perish but have everlasting Life”
Roman 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Preparation: Get ready for the return of Christ, when He will take us home. No man knows the day or hour when Christ will return. He is coming soon! Get ready for a Heavenly Wedding!!
